Supporting you
We understand that adoption can often be a long and sometimes difficult process. We make sure that we are there for you at every step of the way, offering advice and guidance, or even just someone to talk to.
We provide a range of free services to support our service users in a safe environment, where you can be sure of being heard without prejudice.
The long-term continuation of support is what makes us different and we always go the extra mile. We combine friendship and empathy with support, guidance and education where required.
“We received excellent support leading up to placement and post placement.”

Support for young people and adults who have been adopted through the Society
If we played a part in your adoption and hold the adoption record, then we can arrange to provide you with information from your birth history. We will also offer support and advice as you decide on any future steps. Find out more.
We also provide services specifically for young people.
“The weekend was brilliant; it’s really helped our daughter have more understanding about why she was adopted and that it’s okay for her to have feelings for her birth family as well as for us.”
