Become an #XmasPartyHero!

November 18, 2020

Sadly, staff Christmas parties will be out of the question for many companies this year. But you can spread some good cheer and become an #XmasPartyHero by donating your Christmas party budget to charity.

Xmas Party Heroes are a movement looking to ensure that unspent party and entertaining budgets are put to charitable use this Christmas. Many charities have struggled to raise funds this year due to Covid restrictions, so we are delighted to be part of a scheme which seeks to encourage local businesses to support UK charities in this way.

SFCS offers extensive adoption support services to all our families. We don’t receive any funding for these services – we rely on donors and fundraisers. At times like these, our support services are more important than ever. By donating your Christmas party budget to SFCS, you are helping to ensure our vital work with adopted children and their families can continue.

It couldn’t be easier to take part. Simply get in touch with us at fundraising@sfcs.org.uk to let us know how much you would like to donate and our Fundraiser will tell you how to make your donation. You should also contact Xmas Party Heroes directly at hello@xmaspartyheroes.co.uk to let them know about your pledge so your name can be added to their list of donors and your pledge can be added to their running total.

Once you’ve donated, you can use the hashtag #XmasPartyHero in your social media to tell the world that you’ve made a difference to vulnerable children in your local region. We will also tag you on all of our social media platforms – Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn – and publicly thank you on our website to acknowledge your generosity.

You can also download a flyer to send to all of your staff so that they can enjoy the warm glow of being an #XmasPartyHero too!

If you would like to find out more about donating your Christmas party budget to SFCS and becoming an #XmasPartyHero, please contact Anju on 01908 572700 or fundraising@sfcs.org.uk. Thank you for your support.
