January 23, 2020
The conference is entitled Siblings: Parenting, Managing and Supporting Families, and our guest speakers for the day are Denise Golding and Zach Gomm.
Denise and Zach are certified instructors of The Great Behavior Breakdown by Bryan Post. Their Live Life and Love Healing courses focus on an attachment-based parenting approach which uses techniques and strategies from The Great Behavior Breakdown (GBB), incorporating PACE, and some therapy and sensory integration techniques.
The conference will take place on Friday 15th May 2020, between 9.00am – 4.30pm, at The Ridgeway Centre, Wolverton Mill South, Milton Keynes MK12 5TH.
This conference is for adopters, foster carers, special guardians and professionals who parent, care for or work with siblings and their families.
This workshop offers a ‘toolbox’ of techniques to use with siblings and those caring for them. The course draws on attachment theory and current neuroscience, and builds on Dan Hughes’ PACE model. Delegates will learn strategies for multiple and complex behaviours often presented by siblings in placement.
Full price tickets for this conference cost just £120, which includes all handouts, lunch and refreshments throughout the day. However, we are offering a limited number of reduced rate tickets (£75 each) to SFCS adopters. These places will be offered on a strictly first come, first served basis, with a maximum of two per family.
