This event may not take place, due to the Coronavirus pandemic. We will review the situation closer to the time and make a decision in line with government recommendations. If the event cannot take place, we will offer to send you our Virtual Information Event film. Please check back for further updates, and keep an eye on our Facebook and Twitter feeds for the most up to date information.
SFCS hosts regular Adoption Information Events, which enable you to find out more about our adoption service and the adoption process itself in a relaxed, no-pressure atmosphere.
At our Saturday events, you’ll hear a presentation from one of our social workers and one of our adopters at 10.30am. You’ll then have the opportunity to have a private one-to-one chat with a social worker and be able to ask all those questions you want to ask.
You will also learn a little about Fostering for Adoption – an alternative, child-centred route to adoption.
We hope these events will encourage more people who are considering adoption to come and have a chat with us – no pressure, no obligation. Hope to see you soon!
