National Adoption Week - BME adoptive family playing with bike

Saturday 19 October 2019
10.30am – 12 noon

Venue: St. Francis’ Children’s Society, 48 Newport Road, Woolstone, MK15 0AA
A map of our location can be found on the Contact Us page.

Join us for our special National Adoption Week information event, to learn more about adopting with St. Francis’ Children’s Society.

National Adoption Week runs from Monday 14th October to Sunday 20th October, and we will be opening our doors on the Saturday morning. We hope you’ll join us!

You’ll hear a presentation from one of our social workers and one of our adopters at 10.30am. You’ll then have the opportunity to have a private one-to-one chat with a social worker and be able to ask all those questions you want to ask.

We’ll talk you through the adoption process and help you decide if adoption is right for you. We’ll also tell you about all the help and support you can expect if you decide to adopt with SFCS.

You will also learn about The Triangle Project, our joint venture with Adoption Focus. The Project offers an alternative route to adoption through early permanence placements.

We hope this event will encourage more people who are considering adoption to come and have a chat with us – no pressure, no obligation. Hope to see you soon!
