The 2.6 Challenge is set to launch this Sunday, 26th April, on the day the London Marathon should have taken place.
The idea is that you come up with a challenge or fundraising idea which involves the numbers 2 and 6, then ask people to sponsor you or donate to support your efforts. There are lots of things you could do, and you don’t have to be sporty to take part. Your challenge could be a personal one, you could encourage your children to do something, or you take on a family challenge together.
You could:
There’s no limit to what you and/or your family could do to raise funds. You’ll find loads more ideas on the 2.6 Challenge website. Although the campaign launches on 26th April, there is no obligation for you to complete your challenge on that day – you can do it at a time which suits you.
We have our own dedicated page on JustGiving which will allow you to quickly and easily set up a 2.6 Challenge fundraiser for us. Or you can visit the page to simply make a donation if that’s what you’d prefer.
This is difficult time for charities across the UK, so we are incredibly grateful for any support you can give us. With your help, we’ll get through this and continue to create more families through adoption and provide lifelong support to those families. Thank you so much.
If you’d prefer not to take part in the 2.6 Challenge but would still like to support us at this time, you can donate directly to us on our secure Donate page, or consider becoming a Friend of St. Francis to support us with a monthly gift. Thank you for your help.
