Local companies support SFCS

We’d like to take this opportunity to say a big ‘thank you’ to Discount Sticker Printing for supporting us by giving us stickers and two fantastic banners for use at our charity events. Thanks to their generosity, we will be able to raise awareness of SFCS and reach even more people in our local community.

The banners can be customised for each different event thanks to the stickers that were also provided. So whether we are trying to find more families for children in the care system, encourage people to take part in events and fundraise for us, or to grow our community of volunteers, this can all be achieved thanks to the support of Discount Sticker Printing.

As a small charity, the support we receive from companies is vital for our work.  During the past 12 months, we have enjoyed support from the following organisations (please check out their exploits in the gallery below!)…

• Bunnings DIY store in MK, who hosted a Sausage Sizzle for us last summer.
• Argos Head Office, who donated a range of brand new toys for us to use in our Family Centre, as well as for toy sales and raffles. They also sent a team to help decorate the communal spaces in our offices!
• Control Print Solutions who sponsored our concert with the world-famous Treorchy Male Choir.
• SMC European Technical Centre raised £160.66 from a Christmas Jumper Day and cake sale.
• The Milton Keynes branch of Las Iguanas, who selected us to benefit from their annual Christmas Present Fund
• Co-Op, who are our charity partners and donated Easter Eggs and scones for a recent family event.
• Tesco Kingston Branch, who also donated Easter Eggs and raffle prizes. We also stand to receive up to £4,000 from their Bags of Help scheme.
• Variohm Eurosensor Ltd, who joined the Rock Painting craze and offered to donate £1 to us every time one of their painted rocks was found, photographed and tagged on Facebook.

And a very special mention must go to global law firm Dentons. We were honoured to be selected as their Charity of the Year and they raised a phenomenal £22,797 for us during just twelve months!
