We’re thrilled to announce that three-time BDO World Dart Champion and three-time World Masters Champion Martin Adams will be taking part in a charity event in aid of St. Francis’ Children’s Society.
Fresh from his victory at the Dutch Open last weekend, Martin Adams will appear at a special event at the Clay Pipe pub, Appenine Way, Leighton Buzzard on Saturday 21st February.
Martin will be at the Clay Pipe between 4pm and 10pm and will be playing any punter who wants to have a game – in return for a £3 donation to SFCS! There is no entrance fee for this event. The Clay Pipe is a family-friendly pub which serves great food, so it is hoped that the whole family will attend this fantastic event.
There will be a top-quality raffle in aid of SFCS, and we will also be auctioning off a very special item. The highest bidder will become the proud owner of a 2014 Sport Relief T-Shirt which has been signed by footballers and popstars who were involved in the 2014 World Cup Song for England (the song’s music video made its debut on Sport Relief night, 21st March 2014). Signatures on the T-Shirt include Gary Linekar, Michael Owen, Glenn Hoddle, Katy B, Eliza Doolittle, and Kimberley Walsh.
As well as placing vulnerable children with permanent families, SFCS provides a wide range of support services including counselling, Theraplay® and family events, to adoptive children (who’ve often had a difficult or traumatic start to their lives) and their families. We hope this special event and the auction of this rare item will raise much-needed funds for our Family Fund, which supports our important work in this area.
Please come along and support us – we’d love to see you there!
