Please be assured, we are still welcoming new adoption enquiries and providing high-quality services and support to all of our adopters and other service-users.
All staff are now working from home, but we are all still contactable. If you know the mobile number of the staff member you need to speak to, please phone them directly. If not, you can still reach us by calling 01908 572700, as all calls are being re-directed during office hours. Outside of office hours, you can leave a voicemail.
If for any reason you are unable to get through or are not given the opportunity to leave a voice message, please email firstname.lastname@example.org and we will return your call as quickly as possible.
We have postponed all events which are due to take place up until the end of April. This includes our information events, preparation groups, the follow-on training session, the Adopters Forum meeting, our Stay & Play sessions and our Easter Party.
We are exploring options for hosting or presenting our regular adoption information events online, and will let everyone know if we find a workable solution. It is hoped that future information events will be arranged soon so please keep a look out on our website for further information.
In the meantime, if anyone wishes to have an informal chat about adoption and make the first steps, you are warmly invited to call the office on 01908 572700 or email email@example.com and arrange a convenient time to have a one-to-one chat with one of our friendly team.
We are also exploring the possibility of hosting our Preparation Training online. If you were due to start your Prep Training with us soon, we will keep in touch and let you know of any developments.
Initial visits with prospective adopters and home visits with those who have already begun the adoption process can be conducted over the phone or online using apps such as Zoom or WhatsApp – your social worker will discuss what works best for you.
Thank you very much for your support and understanding at this difficult time. We are still here, and technology will hopefully allow us to continue providing our high quality service to prospective and approved adopters, and all of our other service users. We look forward to speaking to you soon.
