St. Francis’ Children’s Society are looking for wannabe Santas to take part in the most Christmassy event this side of the North Pole!
We all know Santa is real, but you can still dress up like him. Take part in the 3k Northampton Santa Run & Walk on Sunday 11th December and raise much needed funds for St. Francis’ Children’s Society.
The Northampton Santa Run & Walk is 3km and takes place in Abington Park, Northampton and around 2500 people are expected to take part. You can find lots of photos and films of the event on the Santa Run Facebook page, to give you an idea of how much fun you could have!
So, whether you’re looking to do something a little different with the family or are up for the challenge of running the whole 3k, then we would love you to sign up and raise funds for St. Francis’ Children’s Society.
Much of the support we provide is dependent on voluntary funding. Last year we helped over 2,000 adults and children. We simply couldn’t help this many people without our wonderful fundraisers so your support really means a lot – thank you!
For more information about the event and to sign up, visit their website at www.northamptonsantarun.com
If have any questions about the event or would like a sponsorship form then please get in touch with Leanne Sinclair, our fundraising officer, on 01908 572700 or LeanneS@SFCS.org.uk. You can also set up a special fundraising page here.
St. Francis’ Children’s Society will also be there on the day to cheer you on, so let us know if you are taking part! We look forward to seeing you there… ho ho ho!
