On Saturday 6th December, SFCS hosted its annual Christmas Disco for our adoptive families. Over 40 children brought their families along to the event, which created a fantastic atmosphere!
A local DJ provided the music and did a brilliant job of keeping the kids entertained with a fantastic choice of songs and lots of great games.
A number of SFCS staff were there to help out, and entered into the spirit of things with silly antlers, flashing noses and painted faces! We are also incredibly grateful to the lovely volunteers who came along to lend a hand and make the event extra special. We couldn’t have done it without you.
And we were especially pleased that Father Christmas was able to make time is his VERY busy schedule to stop by and give each of the children a gift…!
The Christmas Disco is just one of a jam-packed series of social events that SFCS runs throughout the year for our adoptive families. These events provide an invaluable support network, enabling adoptive parents and adoptive children alike to meet and socialise with others who know what it is to live in an adoptive family.
