SFCS Easter Egg Hunt

April 08, 2015

The SFCS Family Centre was buzzing earlier today, as we welcomed our adoptive families to join us for our annual Easter Egg Hunt!

We were delighted to see around 60 parents and children roaming the Family Centre garden, hunting for Easter eggs in the sunshine.

As well as the all-important egg hunt, the children took part in an Easter Bonnet Competition, and enjoyed a wide range of themed arts and crafts activities.

The event was rounded off by a picnic in the garden – and thankfully the weather didn’t let us down!

The Easter Egg Hunt is just one of a jam-packed series of social events that SFCS runs throughout the year for our adoptive families.  These events are a vital part of our Adoption Support service; they enable adoptive parents and children alike to meet and socialise with others who know about living in an adoptive family, and provide families with an invaluable support network.

If you adopted your child through SFCS and you are not currently on our adopter mailing list, you and your family could be missing out on all of the events we host.  If you would like to be kept up to date with all of our family events, training, workshops and support sessions, please contact us and we will add you to the mailing list.
