SFCS would like to send a very special ‘thank you’ to some fantastic fundraisers.
On Saturday 2nd May, ‘Team Santander’ completed a Sky Dive to raise much-needed funds for SFCS. The aim was to raise £2,500 for SFCS, but they smashed that target by raising a staggering £5215!
The team comprised Andy Watt, Nathan Jakes, Simon Masih, Angel Sainz de la Cruz, Adam Spencer and Dipen Dhokia, and we couldn’t be more grateful that they decided to fling themselves out of a plane on our behalf! Thanks to all of our sky divers for their dedication – and bravery!
There are lots of different ways our supporters can raise funds for us – our Fundraise page is full of ideas, from running marathons and completing Sky Dives, through to more sedate activities like hosting a dinner party or organising a bake sale. You can even raise funds for us from the comfort of your sofa, as you browse the internet or shop online – you’ll find more details towards the bottom of the Fundraise page.
If you decide to host an event to raise funds for SFCS, please don’t forget to tell us about it – we’d love to tell the world about your efforts on our behalf and encourage those all-important donations!
And remember – if all of this sounds too much like hard work, you can still support our important work by simply making a donation. All funds raised go into our Family Fund, which supports our wide range of adoption support services. These services are available to the parents and children of all the adoptive families brought together by SFCS, whenever they are needed.
Thank you all for your generous support!
