SFCS is delighted to announce that the Treorchy Male Choir will be performing at a concert to raise funds for us this autumn!
The world famous Treorchy Male Choir has been recognised as one of the greatest choral ensembles of all time. Early competition victories were followed by regular radio and television broadcasts, feature films and an unequalled number of commercial recordings. The Choir has given several Royal Command Performances, appeared alongside international entertainers and undertaken several tours to Canada, USA, New Zealand and Australia.
They have been invited to perform at the Trinity Methodist Church, Leighton Buzzard by Mrs M Powell, an adoptive parent and active supporter of SFCS. We are incredibly grateful for all her hard work in making this concert happen.
The venue and refreshments are being generously provided free of charge and we are seeking local sponsors to help cover the cost of bringing the choir over to Bedfordshire. If we can cover all the costs involved, all the monies raised from the event will help to fund our vital support services for vulnerable children and their adoptive families.
If you would like information on the sponsorship packages available or have any queries then, please contact our Fundraising officer Leanne on 01908 572700 or at LeanneS@sfcs.org.uk
Profits from this event will help to fund the services that St. Francis’ Children’s Society provides to our adopters and their children. We are proud to be there for our adoptive families for life, and our support services are available to anyone who has adopted through us – whether recently or years ago. Our support services are reliant on voluntary funding and so we could not do this without the help of our valued supporters.
Tickets for this concert are £20 each, and are selling fast. For more information or to purchase tickets, call Mrs Powell on 01525 373816 or email us at LeanneS@sfcs.org.uk. You can also find more information in the event listing on our Facebook page.
We hope to see you in October for what promises to be a fantastic event!
