Join the St. Francis’ Children’s Society MK Marathon & Half Marathon team!
With 4,500 acres of woodlands, lakesides, parks and landscaped areas within the city boundary, Milton Keynes is the ideal setting for a Green City Marathon. The course is a single lap, traffic-free route on closed roads and cycle paths and has great PB potential.
Own place runners: if you have already signed up for the MK marathon, but would still like to be part of our team, then we’d love to hear from you. There’s no minimum fundraising target, just raise as much as you can.
Join the SFCS Northampton Half-Marathon team! All our runners are eligible for a free place and in return we ask you to set your fundraising target at a minimum of £100. And don’t worry if you haven’t fundraised before, our dedicated Fundraising Officer will be there to help you with your fundraising.
The race starts with a tour of Northampton’s heritage. Starting at the Guildhall, touring the town centre and an inspiring finish in the shadow of Delapre Abbey making a terrific backdrop for the Northampton Half Marathon. You can find out more on the SFCS page of the Northampton Half-Marathon website.
Please note that if you are unable to raise enough to cover the registration fee, you have the option of paying the registration fee yourself (£27.50 for affiliated runners and £30.50 for unaffiliated runners) or alternatively we can ask the organisers to remove you from the race, whichever is most preferable to yourself.
However, you will receive fundraising support from Leanne, our Fundraising Officer who will be able to help you if you are struggling and advise you of simple and fun ways to reach your target.
We don't have charity places in the following events, but if you’ve booked your own place, you can still use the opportunity to raise funds for SFCS. You'll get tons of support in return and there's no fundraising target – just raise as much as you can!
